This is why when it’s all said and done, people will look at Drake as a hit maker but an artist that never actually had anything to say about people’s lives outside of his music. He literally just doesn’t have anything to say. He’s been to more countries than most people will ever see. He talks about how he has all these friends in these countries and how they touch his stage, but he doesn’t have anything to say about people’s lives. It’s gonna cost him the legacy he wants so badly to have.

Rappers/artists in general are nothing more than entertainers. Yes they have a platform but they’re not required to speak on this or any other major social/world event. That’s not their job.

Man what change is occurring? I’m not one of those “why can’t we just protest peacefully” niggas but I’m saying, at what point are we robbing random stores in the name of George Floyd? I saw a video of these girls laughing and celebrating stealing a Gucci bag. It’s just sad man. I really wish we had a leadership figure like Malcolm, who didn’t just sit around and let s*** happen to his people, but also taught his people how to defend themselves against law enforcement through manners within the confines of the law so if any of them were ever to be arrested/jailed they would be able to provide evidence of their legal innocence. Malcolm handled things in an organized fashion. I truly think we need someone like that. Someone who has 0 political agenda and just wants the betterment of their people. Someone who will guide us to the home of the actual oppressor so we can burn that down instead of the Target that employs locals from that community. The owners of Target aren’t affected by this at all. Those employees are. If we’re gonna do things violently we need to 1) arm ourselves 2) learn the laws of arms in this country 3) do it in an organized fashion. That’s how I feel.
