You’re what you’re accusing others of being lol. There’s also a video of Kanye holding a plate of food for Lil Wayne to eat off of, but that don’t fit in with your narrative though

    dat guy

It was obvious he was gonna attract racist cacs with the MAGA s***

Was it intentional? Thats my main problem with this.

People defended this s*** saying he is free to support and believe in what he wants and thats true, but this all feels calculated. Like, i dont buy the "im tryna help the country" narrative he tryna promote. Excuse me for the reach but i think Kanye is intelligent enough to know the kind of people he has gonna attract with this ideologies. He wanted a bigger white fanbase.

He doesnt have a problem calling out Drake, Travis and other people in hundreds of tweets over irrelevant s*** but suddenly he stays quiet with REAL problems related to his buddy Trump?

I know Ye was at the protest the other day but still, his silence over this problem is Disgusting

He calls himself Walt Disney, Steve jobs, in general he idolizes white men, trump is no different.

Truth of the matter is, his stance on slavery makes sense given the way he moves and talks

What the f*** is Kanye gonna say to make this situation any better? I am 100% a Ye Stan, but the levels y’all take this celebrity worship to is ridiculous. He is not an activist. Unless he straight up goes radical and calls for the destruction of white owned businesses or some s***, ain’t nothing he says is gonna galvanize people more than they already are. Y’all say the dumbest s*** with this whole “why ain’t xyz say something yet???” narrative. The moment he says something you don’t agree with, the same ones gonna be saying he needs to shut the f*** up forever. Stop looking to celebrities for political guidance.

No wonder why he supports Trump and Christianity and also why he panders so much to white anthics like marrying vultures like Kim.

You don't think he stayed connected to black culture for the majority of his career? And back when he was a producer everything he did was for black artists. a lot of them were people like Common and Talib too. No doubt he picked up some weirdo fans with the Trump s***, but he's always leaned into the Christianity, cos like a lot of black greats, his background is in the church. It's all over the College Dropout and some of his other early productions too. He's always been like this. I'm pretty sure he even had some lyrics about people telling his mom he might have bipolar before college dropout came out.

And tbf, with this he hasn't really been silent. Always more can be done, but he did donate millions and walk with some of the chicago protests.

At the end of the day tho despite some great on point social commentary in his career, when it comes to linking that to political and systemic stuff, outside of a couple moments he usually falls short. He's always said s*** about not being political, like when he didn't pick a side between Hillary and Obama. At the same time, people like Ye cos he was seen as relatable and flawed. Most people would say they aren't 'political', and most rich people, including people like Beyonce and Hov would never be willing to go anywhere to the left of Hillary and are always on that civility politics, liberal, steady as we go bullshit. I don't know why we expect rich, celebrities who own lots of property and have corporate interest to be unlike anybody else in that situation and be platforms for radical systemic change . There are obvious exceptions like Chuck D, Killer Mike etc.

Ye donated to Hillary's 2015/16 campaign and when asked about Trump can only point to tax cuts and that love everyone crap, so he's all over the place. It's probably just his personal circumstances that makes him think politics should be more about everybody getting along etc. It's just odd to people because he was consistent in railing against Bush. Maybe some of it comes from his justified disappointment in the Democrats and Obama, idk. It reminds me of James Brown slightly, in that it's like 'I made it under this system so you can too' conservatism which Candace Owens goes into too.

Exactly, it's very difficult for celebrities to stay in touch with normal people. Maybe there's a way they could use their platforms to bring more attention to knowledgable people but all these people who care so much about what they're saying would probably stop listening the moment they said anything of value anyway Maybe people are just hurt that in 2020 Cardi B has more of a social conscience than Kanye

Ohhh, so its ok to be political for the fun and likes but not for the REAL problems?

If he didnt want to be associated with Trump he should not have supported him so loud. This was f***in obvious. Now he gets smoke, specially after the slavery comments :

He was LOUD about his support for Trump back in the day.

Why cant he be loud with this huh? Looks like he is scared to say something about Trump TBH .No donations or s*** cant negate this.

  • Jun 17, 2020

kanye ended up doing more to support george floyd than any other rapper did so trying to come at him is stupid

The man got murdered and i can guarantee you without a shadow of a doubt his biggest hope/wish would be for his daughter to be ok. Kanye (and barbara streisand funnily enough) have set her up in a promising place for the future

who knows, apparently he was loud about his support for Trump in private for two years but only came out in public when he was doing album promo. maybe he'll make noise about this on his next interview run, he's always taken restbites from full on public life.

That wasn't really my point tho, I wasn't defending him, I don't agree with his politics. But I do also think his politics are very common amongst most rich people, but also a lot of people who have tapped out from politics too.

At the end of the day tho, even if he aligns with the likes of Candace Owens it's hard to say his career has all been about white people, when he's contributed as much as anyone, if not more than anyone, to a mostly black artform over the last 20 years. He also helped keep content that's about stuff that actually matters among all the noise on the radio for years too. If you look at the people who've come out and dominated hip hop since like Drake or Future they haven't done that. That will be his true legacy and his musical influence.

I don't know if it's denial, if he's faking it or if he just doesn't see it, but his perspective on every social issue apart from maybe tax, makes no sense with his political statements

    What’s wrong w supporting Christianity

There is nothing wrong with faith. Christianity on the other hand, has been a cancer to the world, same with other religions. Its not a secret that majority of white people are christians or believe in something with fundaments in christianity, im not talking americans but all white people in general.

Weird enough, this problem is alike with the police s***. You cant have bad apples in church, same as you cant have bad apples in your police. Church has done absolutely nothing to punish and prevent this bad apples to do wrong, in fact, they cover them. Still in 2020.

We are free to believe in anything, but thinking that Christian/Catholic or any other big churchhas good will, is wrong. Hell, even Pastafarians are better lol.

You said it fam, it kinda looks like a stunt, funny how when the music is coming the s***ty anthics too. Thats wack.

Also, it doesnt matter if you are doing plenty of good things if you dont acknowledge and try to change the one big thing you are doing wrong.

Ye should have stayed away from politics and rn nobody would bat an eye. Its all his fault for playing that card. If Trump were loved and doing great you bet ye would be the first one talking about it.
