Im well aware of it, thats not being a streamer
What?
What?
Tyler doing skits/vine/comedy really doesnt indicate that he would be interested in streaming for significant amounts of time or as a career lol
everything about tylers messaging is his passion for creation, having actual skills etc. He would never have chosen the streaming path

That is literally how most streamers start lol and its literally a same pipeline and "content lane"
Also idk why you acting like his vids of him f***ing around and his skits were high level lol, it wasn't and was mostly on the fly until he got the tv bag
And you're inflating later Tyler with early Tyler, which early Tyler was trying everything, and early Tyler was actually frustrated and shunned in music early on - he was literally known and more famous for his antics, vids and personality than music for some years and being highly opinionated and an a****** online
Also, he could have easily (and more likely) bring some of his music love to his streams and streaming such as some do now - on top of his high energy f***ing around personality back then
And, Tyler has even claimed he had to make a choice between being a content creator or a musician at the height of loiter squad - which he ultimately chose to go fully into music - but what he was doing is literally streamer-like s*** and his personality would have seen him get instant success in it unlike what happened in music

He would have always made this choice imo
A lot of the blog era rappers like Tyler, Cudi, Wale Charles Hamilton had a lot of webcam/streamer-ish content upon their arrival. There wasn’t really a lane for live streaming at the time but I’m sure any one of them would’ve pivoted if it existed back then. They all expressed frustration with the music industry in the beginning
The live streaming lane doesn’t have gate keepers and corporate overlooking everything so these guys get a lot more creative freedom and control over their content opposed to a signed artist
All of these videos I’m about to post were gems for us at the time because we never saw artist coming up organically until the blog era

Jim Jones
Tekashi
Blueface
Joe Budden (kinda was a vlogger back in the day)
Joe Budden definitely
I could see Blue face tryna do some "bring the hood to the internet" type of streaming "niche"
Jim I actually don't know why he's not streaming, he used to vlog all kinds of s*** and being on random ass low budget reality shows tv but also online made up ones too in the late 2000s to mid 2010s

Ok?
X did youtube

Some Rappers got big off their personality and/or side content too, or eventually are only remembered for their personality and antics - which Live Streaming would have been a way to truly capitalize on that and be relevant in a space that has potential to bounce off into other things
Like how a lot of them have gone podcasting, which is basically just old nigga acceptable "streaming"

Idk y old niggas acting like 7 sec vines f***ing around and YouTube kickflip tutorials is such high art compared to streaming when it's the literal same s*** just live and longer form
