  • Common for sure

Discography is very strong besides like two projects maybe. Has classic albums

Worked with the best (Kanye, Pharrell, The Roots, etc.) & beefed with some of the best (Ice Cube & Drake)

First rapper to gain a Grammy, Oscar AND Emmy

How can a rapper be top 5 worthy if they don’t write?

ehh what you’re saying is anecdotal & pretty dismissing but the writing thing is a Pandora’s box so I’m not making an argument for ye the rapper now, as much as I am the level of rapping on those albums etc

He's still written a bunch of verses, plus it's more than just the lyrics, his flow, cadence are all great and unique to him.

I don’t disagree, but then you could say the same for Dre, absolute classics but he admits DOC amd co penned his s*** so he gets dismissed. Pre Compton Dre had one of the illest voices in the whole genre

actually yeah I did. ngl I wasn't really blown away by it but appreciated his work anyway. considered buying the book too

Electricity is on our Side is legit one of my favorite albums ever so its not like fr/blck/pr wasn't good or something, got that 'mature experimental' feel that I get from Kev Brown or Zeroh albums. its cool that hes getting active, liked the new single too

wish I picked that Cosmic Cleavage vinyl when it was collecting dust at my local store for like 3 years before somebody snatched it

That's fair on the fr/blck/pr album. I'm 100% with you on Electricity is in our Side. Special album. His ability to innovate and try new things after all this time is really impressive. Definitely excited for whats to come.
