One of his best closers and very fitting for the concept album. Production is immaculate

it's from Kiss Land which automatically makes it almost perfect lmao
the buildup to the drop with "honey please" with those hard hitting synths is still f***ing incredible

6.5/10. Cute little deep-cut R&B joint on an album. Lacking that special something.

Damn, that's got to be a 3/10 for me. Wasn't a big fan of the production and all the electronic sounding voices, which was the main focus of the song. First time hearing it, probably won't visit it again.

10/10 - song is the perfect representation of what it means to be The Weeknd, the live version too >> smiths interpolation

Doesn’t get enough love in my opinion, one of the better tracks on Starboy. Would have loved to hear this live
Devil May Cry

One of my favorite songs from him ever! Love the sound of his voice on this track, production suits him nicely. Also leaked like the day I joined KTT IIRC, so there’s that lil memory

6/10 I wasn't a huge fan of his features during this time besides "In Vein" & "Gifted". It's listenable but definitely not my cup of tea.
The Birds, Part 2:

The Birds, Part 2:
I hate rating Trilogy songs because most of them are ridiculously high rated and it makes it a bit redundant (most down to quality, though some down to nostalgia bait) — but The Birds Pt. 2 is a genuine 9.5+/10 for me. The intro and the outro are so creepily atmospheric, and I love that second verse — “I thought I told you, I’m not him... I’m not him”
Curve (Gucci Mane track):
5/10
Not a bad song, but the lyrics and sound of this track aged horribly lol. Way too vulgar for me to enjoy personally rn.
Christmas Blues
6.5/10
Solid song for what it is. Their voices go well together. I'd prefer if there was more going on, it kinda sounded same-y all throughout.
Low Life
7.5/10.
By far the best The Weeknd x Future collab. I really wish they didn’t have so many, though.

This song was the song that made me realize I was going to be a huge fan of Pop Abel. Bright drums, heavy synths, major key, Max Martin production; basically everything OGs hate Abel is absolutely singing his ass off in this, and singing about some heavy s*** too. Vocal layering is amazing on this track (throughout all of BBTM honestly), and the finished product is just chefs kiss
