Why's it gotta be about attention spans? "New generation" nigga I'm damn near 40 and these tracks have done nothing for me lmao from jump nothing about this "beef" moved me or many others cause it's not like there's any history or animosity between any of the artists involved. There's no stakes. It don't matter who wins/loses here.

This is the natural result of manufactured fake "beef". After awhile people realize how lame it all is. And everybody moves on forgetting it even happened.

There's a reason why Kendrick-Drake beef mattered, and why people currently care more about Pusha T's beef with Drake, Kanye, Travis, etc. Issa history there. There's actual conflict. The bars are deeper than some "Lol you're gay! No, you're gay!" type s***.

this back n forth got a lot of praise for those who were watching, mainly for how they kept it to rap and "sportsmen-like" - along with hearing from some people that people havent heard from in years

it also got hype from the battle rap crowd with daylyt involved

i agree tho overall, everyone (the main people) had really just one dope song then the rest were cool/whatever

but i also dont think every rap battle needs to be earth shattering or timeline shifting neither tho - it was just a cool moment and no one made it out to be anything bigger than just that, also there wasnt much of anything else going on in rap at the time either

One of the most forced "moments" this year that will barely amount to a blip by the end of it.

Too many great rap albums to come out this year to keep up with some fake beef.
