Yeh i live in the cbd. Never gone to a bar/restaurant alone but i feel like i would feel incredibly awkward doing that
It's not bro I use to walk around playing Pokemon go in the city I would hit random bars I would run into the bartenders knew me and I would meet girls at those places all the time. Trip out right I'm f***ing playing Pokemon go now I got a hot date. If you don't go out there and put yourself out there you will never experience anything. Try things out try things you've never tried before who know you might like them.
And what is CBD that spicy thc s***?
interesting, might try that out. I understand whatchu mean though, me sitting in my apartment doin nothing aint gonna change my situation..
hahahaha & cbd is just short for living in the city
People would trip out that I was running around solo and s*** but honestly that s*** always played in my favor b****es be thinking I have balls of steel but really I'm just a loner.

Do it live life bro this world is huge there are so many things to see and do. You're probably young too now is your time broder you got no kids wife probably s*** you can go wherever the f*** you want. What the worst that could happen you have to go back to the situation you're already in that you don't like..doesn't sound like you have much to lose at all.
Give me some ideas for hobbies. I want to change my life
What type of s*** do you like already? Can’t go wrong with exercise or reading though.

i already go to gym like 6 days a week and do dabble in some non fiction reading. I need human interaction :(
I have friends but they all in GA where I went to college and all I can do is talk in our snap group and text cause I live in a whole other state. I basically ain’t got none either, cause we can’t go out or anything.
And I don’t really want to go out drinking with my work colleagues...
I live in Australia so covid has basically become a non factor. But after being in lockdown for so long I feel like I lost connections with everyone I loved
Real friends will understand you not being around as much due to having a gal and a PANDEMIC. However, If you fully ghosted them after getting a gal I could see why they’d dip as that is mad annoying. I’m sure they’d reconnect if you reached out
if you play csgo or chess i'll play with you. i'm off for a couple days
Thought I posted this bro

Find a hobby and do it and you'll organically meet people. All my good friends came off basketball and from fight gyms then meeting mutual friends ects.

Low-key for friends fitness classes work, that's usually why you see cross fit people go, they like the group environment. For me I'd say join a fight gym, whether it's boxing, Muay Thai, or Jiu jitsu ect. There's something about training with people and going through hard workouts or rounds with each other that you gotta respect the other guy and also when your partner doesn't just try to kill you and you both get technical work in. Idk what it is but that environment makes it really easy to make friends.

pick up a hobby & talk to people as cliche as it sounds
I'm in a little bit of a similar situation to you OP, I'm 23 from Melbourne and I've had the same friends essentially since high school basically split into two groups
All the people in my best friend group go to a different university to me, so I hung out with a couple of friends from my other friend group which didn't grow at all at university, while some of my best friends university groups grew but its people I don't really know or click with super well so I don't really wanna go to things they go to, so it feels like I missed a trick in making new friends over the past few years
I can't complain too much cause I spent the past 12 hours with my friends and I'm moving out with some later this year, but still I feel your pain its hard to find new people especially if its just you trying to connect with others, I don't really have the answer
It’s hard making friends as an adult.
A lot of adults are stupid.
Kids and teens are too, but that’s to be expected.
Adult stupid though can be disturbing.
There is one leg up when it comes to making friends as an adult versus as a kid though.
As a kid you tend to bond over common interests more.
Whereabouts as an adult, you to tend to bond more over common struggles.
