"already own property in nyc and overseas" lmfao dude either you're >30 and got in early or you're rich (congrats not everyone is) or you received help from parents.
Not everyone is rich but everyone can achieve it
Idk what the point of this point is tho. I was just saying the market is correcting as we speak and I said I already own property to show that I been keeping my eye on this s*** for years

Statistically, that’s wrong my man. Not everyone can achieve it nor even has a chance to achieve it. Where you live has a lot of influence on where you go. A person in NY city prob has 10x chance of becoming rich than someone from random town in Idaho that doesn’t even have a grocery store.

I disagree with this wholeheartedly. Anyone from rural Idaho can get the same exact degrees I got in the same amount of time and make the same money I do. No secret behind it. No networking, connections, get rich quick s***. I got a normal, perfectly attainable salary job. I married someone who pulls their own weight and boom we’re suddenly in the top 5%.
Growing up in NYC I had a single mom on food stamps and we were living in my uncles spare bedroom when I was younger. It’s not about situations it’s about the choices you make.
All this s*** is a diff discussion for another day tho. As far as housing goes we locking in and copping in 2024
I heard y’all housing market is absurd
its garbage. A house in the states that's like 300k is the same as a house here that's worth 1 mil.
Y’all mindsets are terrible and you wonder why a majority on this site are in the deeps dark depths of depression
Changing my mindset so that affordable housing exists
crazy u say this i own a home and my dad who’s an immigrant owns about 3 this south btw but the price of those 3 equals one of y’all’s up there so pretty much the same
its garbage. A house in the states that's like 300k is the same as a house here that's worth 1 mil.
What’s the problem? Was reading the banning of foreign buyers. Is that it? Corps buying?
Market has been correcting for months. Should be fine by this time next year. Interest rates are the real problem anyway.
My wife and I are already preparing to buy property in NorCal next spring and possibly Texas (Houston metro) as well. Already own property in nyc and overseas.
Houston ghetto bruh

That’s just false man. It’s not even something that you can argue about, it’s factually false. A person in rural America doesn’t have the same opportunities as someone in NYC. Not only from a networking POV but also an education POV. How can you have this stance at all considering you come from one of the most opportune cities in the entire world? That doesn’t make much sense. Open your eyes. There’s reasons why there are programs that have been starting to open opportunity for rural America

foreign buyers is correct. They bought up all the real estate and now it's expensive for us. They did the same in Vancouver as well.

Bro the career path I took is available everywhere. Literally everywhere. I’m in nursing. You can get an associates and be a nurse in Idaho. You can do that in most of the country. Even better if you get a bachelors.
I went from making nothing to making 6 figures instantly. Yea you will make much less if you stay in Idaho your whole life. But what’s stopping you from moving to California and making 150k+ off a 4 year degree?
And then what’s stopping you from going back to school for 3 more years to make 250k+
It’s really all about having a plan and getting s*** done

tell him the kind of hours you have to work
tell him the kind of hours you have to work
Honestly have a better work life balance than most jobs bro
As an RN you work 12 hour shifts 3 days a week. It’s not bad at all and you can self schedule
I did 6 days on (Thursday to Tuesday), 7 days off. I basically get 2 week’s vacation every month without using any actual vacation
Job I have now can be 12, 16, 24 hour shifts. Some weeks I work 2 days, sometimes I’m on call so I’m being paid just for the possibility that I might have to go in even if I never have to
Still don’t work more than 36-40 hours in a week tho. All time great career hustle nfs
We were waiting for the older generations to die off and then foreign buyers swooped in and bought everything out from under us. Lmao!
Why you worried about owning a home when global warming is gonna kill us all?
