It’s been becoming very nefarious lately. People can’t tell what’s real and what isn’t. And it’s only in the baby stages right now. It’ll get even better 5 years from now, hell, even 2 years from now

    We went from this

    To now this

We really might be cooked as a society

It’s now ruining this Kendrick and Drake beef too

To fight against ai we must first become ai ourselves

if it’s not on a streaming platform it should be questioned

    Benefit from it

Let the machines do the hard work, or even all the work

  • Apr 15, 2024

    Embrace it or perish

    This is only the beginning

Like the smallest of tiniest percentage of a beginning

only solution is to deal with capitalism if you want a serious answer. AI being used to stifle creativity for money is a capitalist problem, not a problem with AI itself. AI is just a technology

  • Apr 15, 2024

    capitalism is anti-innovation 🔥

"Anyone found making an AI song will owe their entire life earnings to whoever they're impersonating"

    Maybe a start

Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, etc. have obvious value add positioning here - “artist verified” uploads would go a long way. It’ll be tough to legislate out creation of AI-generated stuff, but you can easily legislate the ways you share them. File uploading and social media sites should carry the burden of marking AI-generated material.

Labels are already laying people off and profits are already tanking. I've had a long running conspiracy that AI is going to be the end of the music business, and this Drake v Kendrick thing is 1 last attempt to squeeze some money and interest out before it all comes crashing down.

Post scarcity society coming in our lifetime

Post labor economics coming in our lifetime

90% automation coming in our lifetime

Internet maturing into a technological hive mind powered by ASI coming in our lifetimes

S*** be on my mind every day

Where we are headed ai doing a convincing impersonation of a rapper will be the least of our concerns
