I’ll copy and paste my thoughts from the Max thread:
Just watched this. It was pretty good!
I read a lot of comments calling it boring and don’t get me wrong it’s a slow burner but I felt like it kept the tension throughout the whole movie. It’s one long interrogation.
I’m not big into politics so I admit a lot of the jargon went over my head and I had never heard about this case before.
I didn’t really like the creative decision of how they bleeped out certain information. I understand it was either to keep the mystery going or they weren’t allowed to put that info in the movie but I rather they just had bleeped it out normally then what they did cause it would pull me out of the movie. Just a minor nitpick tho

I’m mad the whole time watching it because she’s talking directly to feds

Movie did a good job of keeping me at the edge of my seat cause for a while I was doubting they were actually fbi
But yeah idk what her thought process was. I think maybe in the back of her mind she knew she was going to get caught? That’s why she was insistent on getting her pets taken care of

Yeah they were acting so f***ing odd
It feels like a critique on the fbi and a PSA for people to know their damn rights. But idk I have to research it more

It wasn’t a creative decision. It was redacted part of the transcript.

I meant how they did it with the pink matrix glitches
I wish it was just bleeped normally and we stayed in the scene
Watched this yesterday. Definitely one of those slow burners, but it keeps you hooked. Sydney really showed the range she's capable of.
I’m mad the whole time watching it because she’s talking directly to feds
Never talk to the feds smh. Lawyer lawyer lawyer

At first I was like what the f*** are they doing
I thought they might just switch settings

Movie really makes FBI out to be predatory like they actually are.
I know she would have some time but i don’t feel like it would have been the max with the lawyer present
just watched. This was pretty good.
One question tho, she mentions that she uses Tor browser and never answered what for. Like she literally just drops it out of nowhere and the FBI asks her what for and the movie never goes back to it.
What did she mean by this?
This was pretty cool I enjoyed the early interrogation and the liberties they took with the transcript. Cool film
