It’s surreal how fast that era slipped away they were supposed to have like a real run and the compilation album and a black hippy albums and all that and before you know it that era is just no more
Kendrick getting all that praise
Or Ab-soul and Q not putting out albums with as much impact
Either of those killed any chance at there being a really strong super group
No way he asked them both to name ten Reason songs and they couldn’t 😭 Couldn’t even start listing them off like they knew some .. I’d kill myself bro
man just immediately said "NO."
I’m sick of the site ignoring SiR as one of the best in TDE
the silent killer tbh
i always forgets he's on TDE but Chasing Summer was so good
crazy how OVO and dreamville are miles above TDE
Dreamville yeah but OVO ain’t anybody incredibley noteworthy imho (outside of drake and producers)
Listen up, people, 'cause I'm about to drop some real talk on y'all! You ever notice how them music labels treat rappers like they're playin' with action figures? They snatch 'em up, dress 'em all fancy, and make 'em dance to their little tune. But when it comes to lettin' 'em drop that fire music, oh boy, it's a whole different story!
These labels, they actin' like puppet masters, y'all. They sign these rappers, lock 'em up in some contract dungeon, and then throw away the key! It's like they say, "Oh, you wanna make music? Well, too damn bad! You gotta wait 'til we say so."
And it ain't just about creatin' that art, it's about control, baby! They don't want these rappers thinkin' for themselves, speakin' their minds, or tellin' their stories. Nah, they wanna spoon-feed 'em some watered-down, generic garbage that they think is gonna make 'em stacks of cash.
It's like they got this assembly line of rappers, churnin' 'em out like factory products. They tell 'em what to wear, what to say, how to act, like they're trainin' little show ponies for a circus! And heaven forbid if a rapper wants to break free, drop some real knowledge, or express themselves in a way that ain't part of the label's script.
I'm tellin' y'all, these rappers are like caged birds, singin' their hearts out, hopin' for a taste of freedom. But the labels, they're holdin' the keys to that cage, and they ain't lettin' 'em fly unless they can make a buck off it.
So next time you bumpin' to your favorite rapper's jam, just remember, they might be spittin' hot fire, but they're also fightin' to break free from them label chains, tryin' to drop that realness they got pent up inside 'em. It's a damn shame, but that's the game, y'all!
Reason been soft
Bruh blocked me on Twitter years ago because I said he was being a weirdo
this is so f***ed, the hosts aint s*** either. grown ass men perpetuating bs
Damn lol
There is a little delusion on TDE part if they consider what reason did as a rollout.

Wonder if Dave and Dot left because of that fr
As much as I f*** with Reason it would make sense because he was the first rapper on that label that didn't have anything unique about him to make him stand out and they probably didn't like the direction the label was going in
Reason also said that when he came into the label Dave and Kendrick were already on their way out which was around 2018
Real TDE ended after blank face to ctrl to damn to bp historic run
So basically 2018/2019

Kendrick put him on the black panther soundtrack tho lol
Imagine his s*** dont break 8-10k. I’d off myself man. President dont fw you
label mate dont fw you
clowned on a livestream saying you ass
being regarded as one of the most mid artists rn
s*** must be absolutely soul crushing
I saw some more from before that clip starts from when Moosa came on the stream. Reason saying he had features and music videos lined up with EST Gee and Latto and the label didn't go ahead with it just coz EST Gee's feature price went up by 25k? Then Moosa asking on stream what will a EST Gee feature do for Reason since Reason had a song with Q that didn't help his career. To me, by Reason working with an artist like EST Gee or Latto he would be exposed to new audiences
I'm with Reason on this 1000%. Sounds like the label just can't be bothered with him
Hopefully his streams go up after this... all promo is good promo in this case.
Ain’t work out for The Big Day
never gone out of my way to listen to Reason
TDE are signing artists that don't have much of a story or personality outside of the fact that they make music

Were all various levels of good to exceptional so I think TDE will be fine when it comes to releases. It’s just some of the talent on the label like Reason, Lance Skiiiwaker & Ray Vaughan are just so uninteresting. SiR and Doechiii were good signees though.
where tf is the SiR album ???
