I started a podcast called “Not Another Industry Podcast” as an excuse for me to talk to interesting and inspiring people in the entertainment industry. So far, guests have included George Chidi, Demetrius Harmon, J. Prince, and others.

This week, I did a solo episode recapping Drake’s show at the Apollo. The show was really amazing. I cover the set list, what it was like in the building, etc. Also, I go into one element of Drake’s songwriting that I think is key to his success, and how, as a TV writer, I find that element really similar to what makes a lot of comedies on TV (black-ish, Insecure, Fresh Off the Boat, etc.) successful.
