having your weapons tied to your horse is the worst decision rockstar made with this game.

nah. really passes the line for me from gamey to way to realistic to be fun at all. It's whatever when I'm shooting people because they all die within like one or two shots no matter what.

It becomes more apparent when you're hunting and you find a 3 star animal, DON'T have the weapon you need. you gotta run back to your horse. switch it, hunt it then you see another animal that needs a different weapon to perfect kill it.

It just becomes way too tedious.

every time i replay this game i'm reminded of the little things that really ruined this whole game.

it's just too pretty to not load up once in a while

i agree with it not being gamey and more realistic, but i personally like that about this game and its what makes it unique imo

as a game it didnt work that well for it at times id agree heavily, but the only thing which I personally wouldve liked to see different was the overall moving which was sluggish at times

Lets just say if they did some bullshit like that with GTA 6 i would not buy the game probably. But i believe in my soul rockstar knows GTA is the more arcadey game.

That sucks. Would’ve liked to have gotten it sooner, if they actually do an update. But I guess the moneymaker has to come first.

playing this thru pc. goat game, only issue i have with it are the conrols. sometimes too clunky or arthur's slow pace makes me impatient. input lag can be annoying and really bad if youre playing this below 60 fps. maybe still need to get used to it

the game was too tedious for me as well. everything felt like a choir. everything you do has some sort of animation that takes a few seconds.

of course i want the game to look as impressive and beautiful as possible, but some of the animations trying to make everything look like its real life could have been left out.

on ghost of tsushima, which im playing now, you can kill a bear and just pick up the hide. no animation where you sit there and cut it up for 10 seconds.

I played like halfway through before switching to controller. I would recommend swapping , much better imo

exactly. plus the biggest offender is you have to line your self of so precisely to get a specific prompt sometimes. it's so annoying. that was an old Gen problem.

havent touched rdr2 in ages, but one animal specifically had like a 10-15 second animation when you cut it up. s*** was beyond annoying. then if you accidently step on it it drops a star lol.

the whole economy of the game doesnt line up imo. if its supposed to be a slow pace, enjoy your surroundings and chill kind of game, you shouldnt have to run around like a mad man to grind and improve your character. GTA has the vehicles and correct setup when it comes to the nonstop grinding.

RDR2 shouldn't require as much grinding and work if you're supposed to move along slower and take longer to perform tasks.

its basically tedious af like GTA but on GTA you can hop in a plane or fast ass car and get to your spot. red dead u riding a f***ing horse lmao

Nah bruh I like the little animations to make me feel immersed but that stepping in the hide and taking a star off is what gets me that not even being realistic it’s just stupid that’s were I draw the line everything else is perfect also different weapons for every animal is dumb also
