Honestly, like a lot of words, 'red flag' has been watered down until it is practically useless.
Red Flag *should* mean something to indicate that this is a DANGEROUS relationship. It might not necessarily mean abuse, but it means serious incompatiblity that could lead to abuse.
It shouldn't just mean 'they don't like Cowboy Bepop and I do, so that is a red flag'. No, that is a 'dealbreaker'.
I would classify the personality trait that clashes too much with your own to be more dealbreaker than red flag, unless it was something where it could easily lead to abuse.
Ppl heavy on social media will never be happy or find love
Find someone who dont even know what that is

Precisely.
It can be useful with some advice, but at the end of the day we don't know who that person is behind the screen, so how can we really take them seriously.
In a world where I don’t have to settle for whoever shows up at the local bar, I think I am going to take my time and find someone who has similar interests and doesn’t have dangerous personality traits. And cowboy bebop is bare minumum, thats easily one of the top 5 anime of all time and with Lazarus around the corner I can’t imagine swapping spit with some joke of a person that doesn’t even care about that s***. We are talking about potential offspring here. I aint f***ing no square
this thread a red flag
i got more red flags than the soviet union and mao's china combined.

I don't know what that is man
U cant cook someone for not watching an anime if u dont een know outlaw star
People don't know what they want or just immature af
Luckily not everyone is like that, but yeah in general toxicity is becoming a somewhat norm almost
It's all u c online and tbh alot of the biggest figures today are it and promote it
It also causes a certain entitlement, cause everyone these days wanna be "seen and appreciated"
I think even for some folks having a partner is just a cool "social media accessory" to show off
Again it makes it easier to weed out the folks with insecurities or toxic traits

It’s just hyperbole. They’re not really saying it’s a red flag

Lowkey not liking cowboy bebop is a red flag lmao. But I get what you mean there's a difference between red flags and deal breakers. Like I genuinely can't see myself with a girl who doesn't like frank ocean.
this is only something that bothers you if you listen to what women on Tik Tok or X say all day
