Intentionally sounding naive to raise the simple question that goes unasked and unanswered.
The media tell us what to think about and control our path as people in some ways. Why don’t they want us to think of the crisis of child trafficking? Your answer is plausible and likely.
Or at the very least they are protecting the black market business that many of their sponsors and investors are invested in.
I guess the kind of people who take the media at face value and believe in its integrity would say this subject is just too heavy and bad for business for the news companies. I don’t buy it though and agree with your conclusion more or less.
