It’s in the same boat as GTA VI for me
It’s taken so long + I’m not confident they’re gonna deliver a truly great game. A little less worried about ES6 tbh - GTA VI I’m going in with extremely low expectations
the leak was a great taste of what the game will be and was only in alpha/beta tho
If we go 2 gens without it…
let's break it down
starfield comes out next year
then dlc expansions for starfield which will prob take till 2025
ES6 full hands on production for 3-4 years best case scenario
highly unlikely it comes out this gen tbh
cant believe he said its releasing 2023

No f***ing way? He did not say starfield and ES6 next year.
he’s not a great interviewer but Todd is so interesting that it doesn’t really matter here
sounds like he thinks es6 full production will take roughly 2 years and then 1 year for debugging and polish so I think starfield in 2023 and es6 in 2026 is likely
Oblivion is a top 15 game OAT for me
Skyrim was ehhhh, I know Im in the minority

I respect your opinion my good sir but you’re smoking something crazy
Did you really give skyrim a go and do all the questlines? That game has some of the best quests in the series, especially the dark brotherhood and mage college storylines, and the morrowind expansion

Nah, I honestly much prefer Oblivion's quests and just the whole world, dungeons, cities, etc. Skyrim felt flat throughout the whole game tbh, I can't describe it, but it just kinda felt generic and soulless.
Oblivion was my first TES so I'll always love it. Also has some of the best expansions ever, IMO, both Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles were amazing.

I hear you. Skyrim was my first TES, played Oblivion after it. And honestly, Oblivion >>

Forgot they did this Gaming industry is f***ing trash, this shouldn't be a thing. Don't show anything until you have something worth showing. Bethesda got it exactly right with the Fallout 4 rollout. That should be how it's done across the industry
