Damn you best get yourself killed ASAP then. Nothing that gets me more in the mood to kill a mosquito/fly than it flying around my face/ears so that is the tactic I would suggest if you were to reincarnate as a fly. Unfortunately if we reincarnate, I don't think we'll retain our memories so we might have to suffer for a while if that would be the way we were to percept time

I dont like the concept of reincarnation personally. My childhood and upbringing was heaven and hell intertwined. I grew up in a f***ed up enviornment with a disfunctional family but a loving family that never subjected me to physical or emotional abuse despite all of our problems. I hate the PTSD some of my experiences have left me. To the point I often dont want to keep going forward. But these same experiences have shaped me for better and worse. I have better understanding of certain things, I have a level of empathy most dont have. I hate who I am but I love it at the same time. I wouldn't want a reset on that to experience life through different lenses.

Maybe it's like time flies when you're having fun, s***s so intense you never get to consider how time is moving

Also if u think about it there are many times as many flies/ants/mosquitoes as humans, so the probability you'd get reincarnated as a bug is massive. This is kinda why I don't think reincarnation works that way, I think in a sense we always move upwards to higher realms just in different paths that don't involve living as insects. Like we probably already went thru that and unless you are rly f***ing crazy dumb you won't go back to that
