Just signed up for the beta. Hopefully I’m not too late. $30 seems a lil steep BUT I did drop hundreds of hours into rocket league. If it’s anywhere close to that much fun it just may be worth it

I dropped $30 on rocket league way back in the day before it went F2P definitely worth it for that lol we’ll see if this touches those heights

this game can run the entire decade if they play their cards right

i played the alpha or beta a few weeks ago, it’s nice, and when you connect on a pass/shot it feels great, but they need some extra control options and camera options like rocket league to really make it smoother.

sometimes it’s tough to “one-touch” a pass because you’ll be looking at the ball carrier and have to change your camera direction as you receive the pass to shoot.

i’m not explaining it well but it’s probably just a learning curve thing

one thing they’ve done right is making goalkeeper feel really fun to play. i’m not upset when my “spawn” after the goal is in net, it’s a fun position

just need to convince my friends to buy this, should be easy since we propably spent 500hours into rocket league

tough to tell personally, id have to play for a few more hours to really dial it in.

if i had a group of friends that were really into it i would def be on board, but if i just want to grind it solo, id have to wait and try it out some more before committing to it.

i know this doesnt really answer ur question but i think its a matter of if the gameplay "clicks" for you or not. similar to rocket league in that sense.
