I don't think the album had the best landing because of lockdown restrictions at the end of 2021. i loved the release party but you could tell it wasn't quite ideal for him. that said i'm glad we got it when we got it, i feel like it came on time for me personally

I thought the album was fantastic and this may be a personal mental thing but I was still bumping After Hours at the time and just wish he would have gave the project a little more breathing room

I feel like 2020 messed everything up for real, don't forget the original tour was supposed to be then. Also, in a sense I could see what he was going for with the drop because we were turning the corner, in a way from the pandemic...........

even with the video, it really gave people a taste of the story of dawn fm

i'm not as high on it as i once was but i do think about it often, i'm all over the place about it, and even went through a period where i disliked it lol. but all the upbeat/dance tracks that came out since from Beyonce, Travis (Modern Jam specifically, incredible drums on that btw, made me want a track that was as explosive as that on Dawn FM) and even the Ye snippets etc have given it some much needed context for me.

i still play Is There Someone Else/Starry Eyes (should have been one song). that's really the only song still on rotation for me.
