The day my mama died, I scrolled her texts all day long
The physical returns but the connection still stay strong
Now I understand why you used to cry sometimes we ride down Claybourne
You just missed your— You just missed your mama
Now I just miss my mamas
The clothes we wear to bed at night to sleep is just pajamas
The flesh we roam this earth in is a blessing, not a promise
I bow with those who bow to the creator and pay homage
Which tribute to their mother is better? This one or 3K's in Life of The Party?
I mean this isn't the type of album that needs to be played outside, so the hype was never going to be huge for the gp. Especially since it wasn't listed as a Hov collab album.
ofc but like, speaking on myself, i really was fiending for this album (i guess not exactly this album but you know what I mean) for a lot of the 2010s, past when a lot of ppl already gave up tbh, and then it dropped at literally the most inopportune time for me to devote any mental energy to it

Both amazing tbh
Honestly regardless of who washed who, the album is a classic all around. The balance between the two work very well
Need another tbh

Good album but I aint wait a decade to hear a collab album playboi
And homie's turned into a parody of himself as far as recent features are concerned.
Most anticlimactic release of all time, but it ain't cause of the pandemic I'll tell ya that
sad that a lot of people can’t appreciate this incredible album because they think it was some kind of competition between Jay Elec and hov
to be fair Jay Elec is asscheeks

“the clothes we wear to bed at night to sleep is just pajamas” LMFAOOOOOOO thank you for this amazing insight Jay Elec, i never knew what bedtime clothes were called!!!
Definitely had some end of the world vibes. Pop Smoke and Kobe just died. That album kinda captured that feeling of prophecy or something. Especially with the Islamic themes.
I remember being on shrooms the night this album dropped.
