Emile, Plain Pat and Dot gave kid his sound. Cudi has been trash since he started working with DayTrip and these other generic trap producers

wzrd was meh. Cudi stans live in another world.
WZRD had some mid on it but also a lot of good sounds, like the one I posted in OP.
(Although I will say Iām not the biggest fan of the drums on this track)
But guess what: every artist has albums with mid on them and with good sounds.

Similar vibe there's a lot for stuff on Entergalactic that is similar imo. There's also been a lot gems on the albums he's been releasing but it gets overlooked due to some of the other songs on the albums.
^ This sounds like a spiritual successor to all along and one of his best emotional songs in awhile.
^ Sounds like it was ripped right out of the a kid named Cudi era.
^ The melody work on this song is awesome and the production is great as well
^ classic Cudi song and one of his best in recent memory
^ Honorable mention, took me a few spins for it to click but is a really great song for what he was trying to execute.
Maybe my Cudi bias is showing a bit but I feel like those are all good songs and that's just off Entergalactic. I feel like people are just way to hard on the guy and some of his antics and "singles" which I agree he is terrible at choosing overlook the rest of the work he does on these albums. Also due to him making so much different types of music there's parts of his fan base that just want rapping Cudi, or singing Cudi, or wzrd Cudi ect. That's what happens when you're an artist that doesn't just do one sound tho. It's a gift and a curse
