both of you guys take a man's influential power with the abstract of music and art, and try to translate it to something as rigorous as politics. I think we are taking kanye out of context of where he actually belongs. Unfortunately we are so divided as to cling on to any powerful figure we can to fuel our partisanship without actually seeing what kanye's own personal goals are. I'm sure he said he doesn't care about politics, and that his main motivation is strictly expressing himself. Unfortunately with his power, and in this political climate, it is hard to see past the surface and question someone's motivations because we let media teach us, and not our own curiosity. We need to see past what the public opinion of this man is and see what meaning kanye is trying to teach us. Not just in the scope of politics. kanye begs for us to look at the bigger picture.
