They weren't cool or had a real working relationship lol

They did that s*** for the Reebok check

well if you want to talk about them being really cool then you could argue they never were cool. 50 and hov never been close. but I'd say if you are doing a tour were your both headlining and actively are promoting it together that counts as a working relationship

My point was hov was actively working with 50 during the peak of his beef with Irv. Would probably never happened if the entire nas murda inc situation happened.

They were good until Hov backed out of that Sprite tour. After that and the Nas s***, they never were cool like that again.

Hov aint mess with 50 till I Get Money RMX

Hov always f***ed with 50. They went on tour together in 2003.

Yea,that’s def a lil too harsh cause both of them were huge for a moment but around 2006(maybe even a lil earlier)it felt like they disappeared.

Ashanti's prime was 2002-2004, you could extend it to her comeback album in 2008 with the hit Body On Me. While her peak was short, you can say her name and everyone knows who you're talking about. Pretty amazing for a girl with such a short peak

Ja Rule was 99-04 but his wasn't nearly as big as her (I don't think, her first album is in Guinness World Records)

LMFAO if you look up Mitsubishi Tah,the first thing you get are these 50 lyrics

“You never gonna sell Mitsubishi Tah, Crack Child
Them niggas dead, they just suck, they no good
I ain't never heard a nigga say they like them in the hood”

He didnt always f*** with 50.
Niggas are businessmen but Hov never f***ed with 50

Jay only deals with people he can control or when he needs to siphon off of their buzz or creativity.

Yep,everybody knows Ashanti, they did an amazing job marketing her but I think she signed to the wrong people cause she could’ve been big with longevity. Ja-Rule is well known too but I couldn’t name you a hit from him off the top of my head if I tried.

    GOAT

Yeah it felt like a prequel to the real diss

He was setting him.up for the kill.

50 never devoted a whole song to Nas. It was always a sharp bar here or there.

He didnt want that kind of attention from Nasir.

We all saw how Ether f***ed Hov up.

Yeah even the name implies it’s a warning track , 50 catching an ether-tier diss would’ve been crazy

I meant from Nas himself . 50 held his own against a swarm of top notch rappers a lot people seem to forget that

50 wasn’t crazy lyrical but he knew how to find somebody’s weak point and make fools of people in the eye of the public . He was a trickster lol

    And Ross

Ross arguably did the most damage to 50 and still had a career after it was all said and done.

Ross stayed calling Fif a "Mungkey"
