i don’t think he counts. i’m talking about a pretty specific type of rap movement. not exactly any rapper that was coming out. that’s why i don’t understand why someone said St Jhn.

This kind of rap was so much better when it was like an alternative rap scene for weirdos. Then everyone hopped on the wave for a quick buck and ruined it .

Soundcloud went from emo to this fake hard s*** and thats where pump and smokepurpp came in. ngl i was a fan of both but moreso purpp at first. pump was just more brand-able.

Most of them lost the point of what made these rappers enjoyable. They were different, creative, weird but they were authentic. After they got big we got Knock-off and counterfeit versions of Uzi, Carti, X, Peep etc.

A little after this stuff I stopped listening to soundcloud rappers and got my first spotify membership. became a lil mainstream

I understand what movement you're referring to. Just noting that early post and Nav were SoundCloud legends.

im jus havin a hard time understanding how post was a soundcloud legend. Nav, for sure. But Post? I thought he was blowing up more on youtube. I've never heard anyone call post a soundcloud legend

if you read you'd see we've mentioned them. except Dex. the first post was more for the specific 'emo' rap.

Maybe he's referring to the fact that White Iverson blew tf up on SC first and then after that he didn't have much time to grow on SoundCloud because he just blew up after white Iverson.

What's the appeal of Lucki? Like he's a vibe for sure but there's not much there in terms of content. Couldn't see myself listening to him long-term.

yeah i don't see that making him a sc legend still. we call other soundcloud rappers legends because that's where all there songs were.
