Greatest producer of all time, he’s what everyone should aspire to be in whatever they are passion about.
I fell in love with music as a child in the 2000s due to his work, Thriller was the first album I ever loved and I don’t know if I’ve heard 10 albums I like better since. Such an inspiration and a legend, who lived a fantastic life.
It’s a shame I never got the honor to meet him. Rest in power, perfection, and paradise.
Outside of his amazing music and film contributions, one of the best things Quincy Jones did was call The Beatles trash.
I respect takes from individuals who aren't brainwashed that the beatles are beyond reproach. it's bs

The crazy thing is I just went in a rant to someone a few weeks ago how younger generations are so clueless to a lot of music history and they probably don’t know who Quincy Jones is.
I actually have been listening to a lot of Quincy Jones this year specifically so it hurts especially knowing how much he’s been in my rotation.
True definition of a goat. Legend among legends
Deep down, I think he wanted a chance to work with The Beatles as a group, it just didn't/couldn't happen. He worked with McCartney plenty of times. Him saying the Beatles were trash, could've been him possibly saying "their trash cause I never got to work with them".
This is Quincy Jones. If he wanted to work with them, he would've. Especially since he was a mega star producer while they were on their first few albums.
He said they were terrible and you lowkey calling him a hater

He pretty much did end up working with almost all of them anyway. By the time Quincy was really out there, and a mega producer, the Beatles broke up.

I love the beatles personally but I don’t think so
A lot of older black people genuinely think the beatles are trash
2024's been wild
