LandoTHELOSTCan we not agree that the owner definitely has a valid point? He wanted his place to be a restaurant that caters to people of color, which includes music we like and dishes we enjoy from all different sources. At the end of the day the place is a restaurant, and it’s not a good look to have people standing up twerking on the booth and s***. He definitely approached it in a goofy way by screaming at everyone but frfr he has a point.
Also, it’s not the DJ fault. He’s playing popular music, and to act like we as black people have such low inhibitions that we can’t help but dance when we hear a song traditionally twerked to is insulting. It’s a restaurant. Eat. Drink. Enjoy. Go to the club after.

This is a weird situation but i understand the owner completely. I saw some other videos and he seemed to try to talk to the individuals at first but things just escalated so what we see in OP is the result.
I understand the side that says they should have self control and not twerk at a formal/restaurant setting but at the same time, the Dj shouldn’t have played music that would be at a club setting in a restaurant. Both the Dj and the ones twerking failed to read the room and are both to blame for the situation.
The owner did speak in a rude way but I think it was an “if it don’t apply let it fly” situation cause if people truly felt he was talking to them specifically there would have been a bunch of folks getting up and leaving.
Fire the Dj & make sure the next one plays music fit for the environment
