WARNING:

New patch breaks the game and can cause your save to be corrupted.

The new patch breaks the whole “saving” system, so ethers, bosses, perma upgrades don’t save and error out every time you get something, open a chest, and more. Every time the error pops your risk corrupting your save.

Don’t play on the new patch for now

This pops every time you open a container, get an ether, beat a boss, or get a perma upgrade

If you've updated Returnal to 1.003.003 but haven't launched the game yet, make sure to change your sync settings and hold tight for more information!

Turning off Save Syncing: Settings > Saved Data & Game App Settings > Sync Saved Data > Auto-Sync Saved Data: DISABLED

so glad i checked this thread ahaha, i’ve had like two runs and haven’t had any issues apart from not being able to heal at helios during one run. but now i won’t be taking the chance which is good cos currently feeling like i’ll never beat nemesis needed a break

okay i couldn’t helped myself and started another run

game just crashed and save was corrupted

managed to restore it but lost some ether and a damage siphon which i got from a data cube is no longer in my database

time to log off

nah i was on my way back, put the ps5 into rest mode and it crashed lol. i was able to stop the game update tho so thats something

man biome 3 aint no joke after being bullied by a pack of drones crossing the bridge, I try climbing up to the boss and they give me a floor full of regular and broken automatons crowding around a healing beacon

Yeah exactly. it’s like there’s 6 checkpoints basically, one at each fragment
