Returnal AT MOST looks like a $40 game from everything that I’ve seen from it so far. Still might cop it Day 1 but man this new price for their first party titles is ridiculous.

it’s not Sony, call of duty and assassins creed is $70 on XSX. All the 3rd party games are priced the same on Xbox/PS
Wouldn’t be that shocked if nintendo does the same when they drop the successor to the switch (not switch pro but the next gen)

it runs at a smooth 60fps in 4k with rt, that YouTube video is just in 30fps which is common
that’s just a small teaser anyways, if you want to spoil the surprises you can watch the first hour of gameplay

70 dollars for some obstacles in your way and you have to jump around em and then enemies shootin at you with projectiles you just dodge sideways like its doom in the 90s
the story, graphics, music are being overlooked here but as far as gameplay there’s a lot more tools for mobility that you unlock than just jump and the maps become much more complex and sometimes it’s just straight platforming no combat. enemies are more complex than just projectiles, especially in the later levels
