Before Dreamville really flourished and grew its own wings Cole was carrying the label. On the initial ROTD mixtape the title track put the listener in Cole’s state of mind. He was ambitious, cunning, and ready to head towards the thrown. This is simply a great tune and one of his best lyrical exercises in the middle part of his career.
