They will talk up the event and the music for their friends and social media just so that everybody on the outside thinks they were a part of something epic and classic....regardless of how lackluster the music actually was.
also if an artist personally invites you to hear unreleased music they’re working on, you’re sort of obligated to say how amazing it was and give the world a glowing review
