I thought this was going to be about revisiting both their production discographies
And the fact that outside a few groundbreaking moments, the catalogs haven’t aged well
Horrible mess of an album, theres greatness scattered throughout it but it cannot stand on its own
Some of P's best production in a minute though, and Diet Coke + Dreaming of the Past were great Ye beats
i was listening back to this the other day
pharrell recycling those drums really overshadowed how dope his beats were in general. switching out the drum sounds would change how a lot of niggas felt cause he was really cooking
Like honestly i was hella pissed fr
Like i was really f***in pissed
Album is still fire to me. Only song I could do without on there is the Scrape It Off joint and even that song is fun
Pharrells production really put a damper on the album imo. He had some great melodies, but reusing the same drum kit on every beat completely turned me off.
Ye production on the other hand was good as always. Dreamin Of The Past is outstanding.

Agreed
Really good, not the masterpiece that Daytona was but still has a bunch of fantastic tracks and a great batting average
'Let the smokers shine the coupes' might be the most genuinely evil thing Pusha has ever said outside of Adidon
