I'm a huge fan of everything he made from 99-09. strangely enough I even fw encore, I think he got three certified classics, I would go as far as to say relapse is another one but many will disagree, he's pretty much cemented as a goat but his last five projects don't appeal to me (I fw a few tracks like castle, killshot, premonition but they are a drop in the bucket)

At least you like his great stuff.

The last album I really enjoyed was Recovery. After that, BME EP, and then it's some ok albums with some highs and some very very lows.

I actually had more discussions about Em(musically) with Black/Hispanic hip hop heads than White kids on my campus. I remember arguing with a friend(Black) over whether MMLP was better than the Eminem Show or not.

I asked some White friends what they thought about MTBMB and they didn't even know Em was still making music or cared. Post Malone seemed to totally replace Em as the biggest White rapper among White kids which makes sense since he's newer.​

Em's in my top 10 but I haven't found him that interesting beyond 2009. I do like some songs like the Ringer and Darkness but I just don't feel the same soul that I do when I listen to Stan, Sing For The Moment, Lose Yourself, etc. Plus, Em isn't even funny anymore and his prime comedy was one of his best selling points.

Kamikaze and MTBMB were okay. Above average. But nothing special unless you only care about flows and bars. But Gibbs, Pusha T, and Benny among others also have flows/bars with better song concepts and music. It is what it is.
