The crazy thing about this is 2008 had the adverse effect on my family. I was 15/16 at the time. First time in my life I had good internet. Just upgraded the cable. Brother was fresh out of college with a teaching job making more than he ever did based on the poverty we were in. Had more Jordsns and Air Forces in 08 than any year in my life. Got a PS3 and Wii that Christmas too. 2009 I was going to nba games, nfl games, and even March madness. Honest to god 2008-2009 were some of the most fun years of my childhood because I didn’t feel poor for once. 2010 s*** got dark though and 2011 I was more or less homeless 😭

Pretty sure bro got canceled for some s*** awhile back so I’m wondering if that factors in to literally nobody talking about this. He was beloved for awhile

2010 was a weird year because I had just turned 18 that summer. Got money from a car wreck I was in when I was 8. Blew that money in 3 months. Got set up to be robbed/killed by my day 1 and another guy which is responsible for my paranoia now. Then mental health issues took over and the bipolar surfaced. House got destroyed and overrun by mice and rats, lost 90% of my stuff. It’s crazy how life can just flip in a flash like that.
