    IT'S OVER

Yeah it's nothing they can do to stop this. Writers are going to be the first to go.

The voice cloning AI's need you to feed acapellas of songs to them so there is definitely copyright infringement taking place.

Can't prove it. How would they know it's not an impersonator's vocals that were used for the reference track.

I saw another Twitter thread that said AI doesn’t use copyrighted material since it’s literally scanning the internet coming up with new things. So what is this

This is false & a faux defense.

You feed it specific data & it literally uses pieces, sometimes these AIs spit out the exact data or pieces of it such as a watermark.

And even if you dont rip something fully & recreate it or something extremely similar you can still get in trouble, happens in the art n animation realm a lot.

Also if i trace an image i can still get in trouble for it.

If the AI is making no profit then they have an argument, but all of them have a payment entry or a donation.

Also the AI isnt scanning off its freewill either, its pointed to & has parameters by its creator.

The main issue is with unofficial sourcing AI is money & ownership.

And the simple fact is, an AI is significantly better if it gets fed data directly instead of just a "scan".

Just doing an "internet scan" is a significantly worst product thus most will do specific feeding.

    Nullifing the already shaky argument.

It does use copyright material, the voice technology basically involves sampling

The images, audio, etc they are trained on are often copywriten works, said works need to be paid for or licensed correctly even if they produce derivative works. There are also huge ethical dilemmas outside of just protectng intellectual property.
