Blue Moon is a 2025 American biographical comedy drama film directed by Richard Linklater and written by Robert Kaplow. The film follows songwriter Lorenz Hart as he reflects on himself on the opening night of Oklahoma!, a new musical by his former colleague Richard Rodgers. It stars Ethan Hawke as Hart, alongside Margaret Qualley, Bobby Cannavale and Andrew Scott as Rodgers.

glad you loved it too. loved watching a has-been type guy who just could never get it together, putting on a charismatic show to whoever would listen at an event that almost feels like his ex's wedding or something you could see how smart and witty he was but also how his own brain just couldnt let him win
