Loved this one, probably my favorite of the season tbh

This second half has really been saving the season for me.

I actually really enjoyed that new vat episode, I hope that girl shows up in the story sometime later

What do they have to gain from this though? Even if this was true it’s obvious people wouldn’t see it that way, and would just think “it’s been 4 seasons they’ve run out of ideas and it’s getting trash”.

Probably quite an easy reaction to predict, so why would they sabotage their own show like that

They have really hit a nice stride in the second half of season 4

R&M still has PLENTY of steam and the last 2 episodes prove that

the point is people aren't going to be satisfied regardless

They just took too long and Adult Swim just told them to give them what they had

They were dealing with anxiety with how much Rick and Morty had blown up in just a small year and just blew it. That's why season 3 was so meh actually.
