I mean it’s kind of a normal s***head boss thing, right? “That’s coming out of your paycheck” and s***

Presumably it still works if you say it with your chest to some teenagers working their first job

That "coming out of your paycheck" s*** is for TV,thats never been right. Missing money out of the register is literally, stolen money,so the manager needs to investigate who did it but the store is suppose to be able to replace that money if need be without asking employees. Having employees pay for uniforms, background checks etc. is just scummy s***,simple and plain

    That’s really not true

If I owned 20 wing stops I only care about how the business is doing in terms of profit

I’ll probably never really be at any of the locations

and that is exactly how you get fined

    Mmm Hmm

    This makes no sense.
Cuz I'm literally already saying it.

I always look at s*** from both sides.

Not my fault your tunnel visioned into having just one opinion

then why say “devil’s advocate” at all

its only use is to lighten the blow of your opinion because you can cop out & say “it’s just devil’s advocate i don’t really mean it” if people start to gang up on you over it

    But it’s really corporate’s fault

Franchise owners are just as much at fault as corporate

Both are looking for profits before good business but without doing as much of the work as possible, as you just said. And this is what happens when profits come before good business

But you would usually have a general, area and district manager to keep up with the day to day activities of the locations

Ross didn’t create wingstop so the policies and procedures are usually standard and pay varies from location

But yea he’s gonna take the blame because he’s the top of the food chain

ya rick ross runs the day to day operations and knew about the 15 year old who had to work ot.

    for nerds y’all niggas dumb

If you don't know what your employee's working conditions are like you're just a s***ty business owner?? And you should get fined for that lol.

Obviously he's not gonna know everything but to say "well he's just the boss" is an even more brain dead reaction

Again Ross owned multiple wing stops

Probably at least 20, no way he’s gonna know the day to day operations of all 20 locations

It’s not enough time in the world

“Real capitalism has never been tried”

Oh hell naw. How you assume from that post that I somehow am pro-capitalism?

Im from a nordic country and actually work for a labor union but keep on going buddy.

  • Aug 17, 2022

If Ross wanted to be extremely hands on with wing stop he could but seems like he has a lot of other business ventures to dedicate that type of time

The point of hiring managers is so you DO know what goes on because you can entrust that they good business, Not only so it decreases individual workload

But that’s only if you worry about good business before profits. Obviously, this is a case where managers fudged laws to make good numbers that looked good to him, because that was must’ve all he was looking for

  • Aug 17, 2022

Its not like these laws were being violated on a whim

Ross (and corporate as a whole as usual) was looking for numbers before good business and this is the result of that

Investigators found that Ross’ company illegally forced employees to pay for their own uniforms, training, and background checks, as well as cover cash register shortages, bringing the affected employee’s average wages below the federal minimum of $7.25. They also found that Boss Wings Enterprises allowed a 15-year-old employee to work past 10 p.m. on several occasions in violation of FLSA child labor work hours standards.

Jokes aside, these people are the biggest scumbags. Taking advantage of workers because they know they have limited resources to fight back

    Fat f***

That’s low as f***, I hate when people try to blame Capitalism but this is just disgusting

Capitalism encourages these things because the system is functionally predicated upon it

There’s no “blame,” just how it works

Mmmmm if you own the franchise you should know damn well what goes on in there

You’ve never worked in fast food or maybe had a job in general lmao

Cause you should know things change everyday

We always “behave” when inspectors or the bosses come
But when it’s a rush or some s*** we can do questionable things

This s*** is the managers faults not the f***ing owner lol

The owners of anything rarely ever do s***…it’s not their job…they just got the bread and hire people to run the businesses for them

    NFL, NBA, restaurants, stores etc.

If he just owned 1 and didn’t have a million other things on his plate sure, that’s logical

But as some one who’s been a district manager for a franchise before that’s just not the case
