Curtis had an Eminem feature where he was rapping about literally pissing and s***ting on some woman, as well as the weak ass Amusement Park single which was basically Candy Shop pt 2 with Six Flags metaphors.... Straight to The Bank which was meh, not to mention the Nicole Scherzinger and Young Buck collab which was kinda like ???
And a Robin Thicke feature which was kinda redundant seeing as how it came right after Ayo Technology which had the other more popular white boy R&B singer. That album was a mess no matter how you slice it.
And (through 2010-2012 especially) Ross had all the hype and expectations in the world, especially off them 2010-2011 singles.
if i recall right, they were expecting ross' GFID to do like 500k first week. it only ended up doing like 230k, but the expectations were through the roof.
ross has had a steady fanbase that supports him, but he never broke through and had a massive album.

i think DTR is his best. i bring it up alot on here, but i think GFID would have been his best if he ordered the tracks differently and subbed in a few different songs for touch'n you, ice cold and presidential.
the album starts off great but then it goes to 3 bangers in a row, and then after that it switches to 3 soft pop songs with beats that are terrible considering its a ross album. i dont know what he was thinking.

Yea those are easily the worst songs on there, GFID tried to follow the tracklisting of Teflon Don lowkey if you pay attention.
(Doing stuff like sequencing Hold Me Back & 911 back to back like he did with MC Hammer & BMF on TD)

He tried, except GFID is longer and TD didnt have that awful pop song stretch. Ten Jesus Pieces and Diced Pineapples closes out the album well, but those pop tracks really ruin the vibe.
I think GFID still has higher highs, arguably. Pirates, Sixteen, Amsterdam, Triple Beam Dreams.
