First Killers of the Flower Moon
Now Napoleon PTA really running hollywood
It’s funny cus ppl try saying writing is PTA’s weak point
They saying he rewrote the entire script when Scorsese changed the direction
The whole script? I thought he just made some tweaks here and there but if that's the case then that's mad impressive

What I read was it was a page one rewrite, uncredited.
Basically Eric Roth wrote the original which was more based around the FBI. When Scorsese changed his mind and wanted to make it more based around Lily character and the community Eric couldn’t crack the script so they brought in PTA to write the new version. That’s the rumor.
S*** they gunning for Joaquin now
https://twitter.com/discussingfilm/status/1823517959983386907this reminds me of that awkward interview where he tells the interviewer that he’s cool to eat sushi in front of him and then fifteen minutes later gives him a lecture on veganism

pta secretly rewriting every script makes a lot of sense when you consider how same-y a lot of these “cinema epics” have been feeling
I never heard about that
forgot what interview it was, but joaquin did not for one second consider how we was looking or coming off . man is full diva

I've never heard that lol who says that. amazing writer. just rewatched TWBB last week and every line is so essential and every scene so concise

it's also rly only a rumor tho. I say it's cap that he completely changed it or he would've taken credit

KOTFM does have a loose structure until Jesse Plemmons shows up. But Scorsese films always are like that too

Yeah the main critique is claiming he doesn’t know how to write a coherent story that it goes all over the place.
Only seen Kingdom of Heaven director's cut. Hope this revamps the movie like that one did. At least the director's cuts from him actually improve the film for the most part
Finally going to watch this s***
