while i love some of the rihanna singles heavily i don't think this is a big loss. it's not like she wrote her songs. the songs will just be given to other artists now. of course she had a unique voice and swagger but i doubt that other artists can't make it work just as well.

the kanye comparison is bad because if kanye doesn't make those songs, no one will, while rihanna just sings off demos given to her.
