Is it good? I'm in Scotland right now
Lmao I'm lost. They don't got internet in Scotland? Anyway, it's a nice Lil ballad.
All the Stars fit the tone of the first movie perfectly: uplifting, hopeful, joyous
And Lift Me Up fits what seems to be the tone of the sequel: somber, reflective, mourning
This song playing once the credits start rolling are gonna have eyes bawling in theaters
This is end credits material, with Tchalla's face being the final shot or something. It's gonna be a wet theater
Wild that y'all expected a bop when the movie is about grief and loss lmao
Exactly. Also, it’s dumb to really have a final verdict on a song made for a movie before hearing it in the context of the film.
I feel like this song is gonna hit a whole lot harder after watching all 2 hours and 40 minutes of this sequel
Is this racist
That was wild
there is no way there's people on here saying this is good lol
I swear if anyone else released this you'd be s***ting on it
They are h**** that’s all
Wild that y'all expected a bop when the movie is about grief and loss lmao
there’ll still probably be some fun songs on the soundtrack but they already confirmed before it dropped it was an end credits tribute and with a title like lift me up idk what folks expected
Damn, damage control already
Its a great song. not everything has to be this hard-hitting, danceable jam smh

that tweet is from the February bruh
how are people saying this is bad... gave me goosebumps when I heard it first time considering the context of the movie. if they play it or the instrumental in the movie s*** will match so good.
Releasing this after such a long silence was a miscalculation on her part. Probably couldn't be helped since the movie is dropping super soon but damn she should of released a proper pop single or something like a month ago so this wouldn't be so anticlimactic
Why did you listen to this expecting some pop hit its obviously made for a sentimental part of BP probably focusing on the grief/healing of Chadwick’s passing

That's cool and all but I can guarantee u most people weren't expecting it and were expecting a pop hit. U must have no idea how hype her fans were when the song got announced. This is NOT what they wanted for the comeback song no matter what the intentions were and I've been seeing that all over social media. They simply should of not tried to push it before anyone even saw the movie
