Will got his part of the beatbox from his friend, who was a backup dancer for him.

They performed it at the 1987 New Music Seminar which made Jazzy Jeff and DJ Cash Money legends. Joe Cooley, Steady B, KRS, etc. It's crazy he used it in a huge movie 15+ years later. I wish the video was still up but YouTube terminated the account that had it up.

My pops has so many stories of Biz, it's a shame he never truly got his flowers. Biz was heavy into breakbeats. He listened to everything just for the break, and knew the history of it all.

A-Trak's career was started because of Biz Markie as well.

RIP to a true legend. I was wondering about his condition all year, we never got any updates on his health after the first announcement. This is truly a huge loss for hip hop.
