Yeah I actually watched Etika from the SSB4 era up till he started having the breakdowns and his chat was mad toxic and his mods barely did anything.

He seemed to love it and I thought nothing of it at the time but I wonder if that harmed him more than a lot of people thought.

there were huge warning signs for his mental health yet nobody in his family intervened.

he had access to alot of dough the dude could still be with us if someone intervened.

This isn't 100% true. His friends, his ex, the decent half of his fans were all reaching out to him to get him help, people were calling the cops, when he was doing too much, they kept releasing him when he needed to be off in a ward for awhile.

The problem is the professionals didn't give him the help that he needed while they had the chance. The toxic side of his fan base and others saying it was all an attention grab while also encouraging his behavior. His family and friends aren't to blame. He even said himself he denied the help. A hard thing to say but you cant help someone who doesn't want to help themselves. The problem is more with the system that should have been doing more when he reached that point. I got put in a ward for a breakdown years ago and for being suicidal. They were trying everything not to let me come home and I wasn't close to being in as bad as shape as Etika was in. It really confuses me how he kept getting released. New York has something similar to the laws in FL, VA, NC, and many other places where 72 hours is mandatory but they kept letting him out within 24-48. even after the mandatory hours they should have kept him.

Its f*** Triforce forever though, he spread such a toxic ass message trying to be "woke" and saying nothing was wrong with Etika. I really cant stand that dude...

his character was known for overexaggerating everything. I feel like his case was case of boy who cried wolf

S*** made me tear up man. Its heart breaking

  • Feb 6, 2020

The situation leading up to his death was sad. The internet has conditioned all of us to just accept this chaotic and inhuman behavior so normally that when Etika started acting out and going crazy people just laughed and made clown memes or whatever instead of trying to help him. It was a clear image of his mental state and everyone saw it as a spectacle. It’s pretty screwed up to really think about

I can't even watch that final video. Those few days after were brutal.
