His performance as Darth Vader was excellent, my words can't convey how much believability he gave the character, (especially if you see the footage of David Prowse' RIP voice work before hiring JEJ.)

I always forget he was in a Kubrick movie. I've only seen Dr. Strangelove once which is deserving of crucification in and of itself. Talking of the era of barbaric practices, James Earl Jones' performance is worth watching Exorcist II: The Heretic, even though the film is a disgrace to the legacy of one of Friedkin's masterpieces.
