bro its ok for someone to have flaws. Tryna justify every little thing he did like relax he was a human
Sure everyone has flaws, but the pop smoke cover and the $50 chain donation weren't that lmao

im sorry but nothing will change the fact that cover was horrible

Art is subjective. People not respecting pop smokes wishes is facts.

And that's fine, I didn't like the cover either, but making a bad cover art isn't a character flaw lol

On god
this nigga changed the world and the very essence of what constitutes ktt culture and died of cancer at a young age and these niggas talking about a pop smoke cover
Life rly aint fair.. he had so much more to give.. he had two kids
His impact and legacy will still be here long after he's gone tho
I remember buying the Caravaggio shirt back in 2016, still wish I never sold it. I’ll admit I outgrew off white but I still loved their accessories plus the ten collection. Wish I got my hands on the prestos

Keef and Frank who never speak on losses and have both lost people close to them recently spoke on Virgil

I mean the first 2 are valid justifications
Pop Smoke literally wanted Virgil to do the cover and he donated 20k to the fund not $50
Like
Niggas in here really saying artistic choices and donation amounts are grounds to call someone a flawed human being smh listen to yourselves
A family friend of mine was roommates with Virgil when they were at the University of Wisconsin. Their friend group stayed in touch over the decades despite the rest of them being normal folks. He always made time for them, even after he took the LV job.
I never knew or met Virgil but according to my family friend, Virgil was always incredibly dedicated to his art and was exploring fashion, DJing, and architecture since his freshman year. Even in those days, he was stenciling jackets and selling them on campus. He never drank or did d**** and poured all of his energy into his work. He was even with the same woman since college and stayed with her through all of the success.
Bad things happen to good people. RIP Virgil

And for those of you saying that Virgil was a “scammer”, there is a kernel of truth to what you are saying. Even since college Virgil would always say “why would I sell a t-shirt for $50 when someone will easily pay $500 for it”.
He was a first generation American. His parents immigrated from Ghana and he wanted to build generational wealth for his family. He had the hustler mentality from the start. If he could get rich from his art he was going to take advantage of that opportunity. I think all of us would have done the same thing.
