This s*** is depressing. To think how young he was and what he accomplished in the fashion and sneaker community. He had so much more to give. He single handily brought Nike back to the forefront of the sneaker community with “The 10” collab. F*** cancer and RIP to the legend Virgil Abloh.

You can write a book about how Virgil and his contemporaries changed the look, feel and overall attitudes towards high fashion, style and design post-2010.

I remember being 15-16 during the Pyrex/Been Trill era and Virgil was like the highest up in the industry bringing actual underground aesthetics at the time into mainstream, s*** was unprecedented. It was inspiring to see someone like him up there execute with no rules. Pretty much served as a indirect mentor to a lot of us. Wanted to see what he would do at 80 but God got his plans for us. Smh. RIP.
