Dec 21, 2019If there are any more star wars movies it needs to be in the Kotor era or very far in the future. Stay the f*** away from this trilogy. So much potential wasted. Even when it has good parts it becomes useless after the next movie.
Even what I liked about the last jedi felt useless here.
Honestly just think there shouldnt be any more movies. Put alot of that money into the mandalorian. That's the saving grace right now

I’m still very disappointed that they did show Anakin. Just imagine Kylo talking to force ghost Anakin instead of a memory based projection of his dad. Would have been so much cooler.

mentalcase420what's with the chick Finn meets in this movie?...they bond over being former stormtroopers in the span of a few hours and go from strangers to "I'm not leaving you" lol then later on Lando asks where she comes from and she says she doesn't know so he's like "let's find out!" and it just cuts off lmao where is that going...are they going to travel the galaxy to find her roots? weird as hell

TLJ set up Kylo as the main villain, a far more interesting character played by one of the best actors of this generation, a character that initally idolised Vader then managed do surpass him by doing what he could never do and overthrowing his master and taking control of the entire galaxy.
It set up the force moving past the binary viewpoints of just Jedi or Sith, and moved past it just being limited to people from "chosen" bloodlines, something that could actually bring genuine permanent balance to the force rather than repeating the light side dark side cycle for eternity.
I'm sorry yall care more about lore than story and demand every Star Wars movie tick the same boxes and never make any attempt to move past the same formula it's used for over 40 years but it baffles me how you don't see the potential for interesting storylines there
