Also why TF palpatine keep electrocuting himself? My nigga just stop using your powers when you see it coming dangerously close to your face.
I think he gets off on being electrocuted but gets bored doing it himself, so he thinks up intricate plans and manipulates others into an end goal of him getting them to shock himself
crazy how poe already had a whole canon back story and jj changed it to make him a d*** dealer
knew it wasnât just me who felt this way, whole movie reeks of reshoots and heavy edits
might just be me in my conspiracy theory bag but I swear there are scenes where Daisy looks like sheâs wearing a wig too

theres a leak from months ago that details an earlier version of the film and all the reshoots as they were happening

i dont think reshoots are a bad thing episode 7 was heavily reshot too but yeah there was a different film at one point

yeah I know TFA had reshoots too and this definitely feels different, TFA still flowed like a proper movie from beginning to end
with this the editing here is so jarring and it really feels like there are important scenes missing (thereâs so much important information just happens offscreen and is just told to you) reminds me of the theatrical cut of BVS

yeah just reading the first part of that doc you see they cut a s*** ton of context out of the opening
George Lucas Star Wars > Disney Star Wars
I donât even count these movies
Actually I really liked 7 and 8. I donât think they are great movies, but I enjoy them quite a lot. By that being said, Iâm not satisfied with the ending of this trilogy and the whole saga. I like the idea of Palpatine coming back, but the way they did it felt so forced and rushed. He was the main villain throughout 1-6 and everybody thought he was dead and they just bring him back like that? At the very begining of the movie? This shouldâve been huge, but it felt forced and predictable. (Since they showed us Palpatine in the trailers) And thatâs one of the biggest problems I have with this movie. So many things that shouldâve been great moments, felt rushed and predictable. Kylo turning, him seeing Han, Rey being a Palpatine, Luke talking to Rey as a force ghost, evil Rey being a vision/dream, Knights of Ren and probably the biggest starship battle of all time. The way they showed us these moments didnât feel special at all. Especially that (imo) disappointing ending with force ghost Luke & Leia. S*** was so predictable.
The fact that the didnât show Anakin was even worse. 1-6 is basically his story and throughout 7 and 8 the main villain, his grandson, is worshiping him like some kind of god and they donât feel like bringing him back at all? He shouldâve been the reason Kylo turning.

yeah and Matt Smithâ entire role was cut too

think he was supposed to play palpatine after he took the life from rey and kylo

this might be completely untrue but this is interesting reddit.com/r/starwarsspeculation/comments/ecromq/what_i_know_about_tros_production
i donât understand why the movie is a little over 2 hours long though, like why not make it 3 hours?

yeah sounds like bullshit lmao
that whole thread is wild its just lads making s*** up about people theyve never met

âI donât know the exact details but a lot of them donât respect George Lucas and see the original films as âproblematicâ in a social/political sense, yeah I know I hate going down that path too, itâs also why Galaxyâs Edge has barely any OT/PT characters. Oddly enough the film they hated most was actually TFA, they loathed the fact that Han Solo had a big role in TFA and was factor to why Luke was killed off a movie a head of schedule.â
yeah this is definitely bullshit lmao nvm
dam they actually showed her on the throne
and in the final cut rey just randomly mentions it with zero context lmao

thats in the final cut its when rey first senses kylo again while shes training and a bunch of s*** flashes on the screen

wonder if that sequence was longer

This just sounds like some TLJ hater jacking off behind a screen creating a story about how JJ hated the movie. I can even sense the climax when he typed, "JJ loathed it".

Like he got no other force tricks up his sleeve ?
All that knowledge of Ancient Sith s*** and cheating death but you got one deadly move in youâre arsenal

yeah the more i read the more it sounded like fandom menace fanfiction

So f***in stupid. No only did these movies manage to ruin pre-existing characters like Luke, they managed to ruin newly introduced ones. Finn had so much potential to be an iconic character after his (very intriguing) introduction and they did nothing with his character smh
