What was she sailing on. That looked like an x wing to me
Just some SW sail s***
Not op but the scene where Vader reads Luke’s mind about him having a sister and Luke going ape s*** on him is one of my favorite scenes OAT
Yeah, the movie has weak spots, but the vader/luke scenes are amazing.
it would not surprise me if they decided to make both Finn and Poe gay and they fell in love in some Disney+ series just to prove a point

Chill. Star Wars is not an accurate depiction of that man's talent if you are familiar with his work. Not his fault they got him out here lookin like a buffoon.

He was also good in Detroit and Imperial Dreams (movie trash tho).
"But the disney overlords weren't ready to do that"

I still don't understand why they killed kylo even from a business standpoint it doesn't make sense. He's a fan favorite and you could've told a bunch of good stories about how he redeems himself.

Hot Take : Kylo shouldn't have been redeemed

They were scared

Realistically he shouldn't but one of the main theme of this series is redemption, a dude who helps blows up a planet getting redeemed is one of the best part of the films and it's been foreshadowed in both TFA and TLJ he was gonna get redeemed.
was hoping for a zuko like redemption story with him to make him stand out from just being anakin and vader rolled into one.

No, I hate redemption stories that involve villians that do the most. Vader worked cause it was one of the first major sci-fi films to push that envelope. This whole decade has been nothing of redemption arcs since the last air bender did the best (and still is) redemption arc for any antagonist.
Anyone who blows up a planet shouldn't be redeemed tbh.

Fair points but my main problem with kylo is i feel like if your gonna go out of your way to have the pos villain redeemed you should have him/her face the consequences of their actions killing kylo last min is cheap and unearned especially since he really didn't do much after his redemption.

Nah that redemption arc s*** corny
It actually would have worked better that Kylo fought against the pull of the light side and then ultimately won out staying committed to his rule as the supreme leader
Stop talking about redemption arc, there’s no redemption arc: all he does is grab a lightsaber kills his homeboys and then dies after kissing Rey, dude doesn’t even say a WORD through it like they didn’t even write anything for him to say that’s how scared and insecure non confident they were doing this move

What this movie could've been
What this movie could've been
waste of potential.
s*** is annoying too because corny neckbeards who were whining about TLJ now can blame that movie for how bad this is
when it’s clearly not the case.
Another thing that tlj does well:
The whole point of the confrontation between snoke kylo and rey is to intentionally echo the confrontation between luke the emperor and vader to move away from a retread of the original trilogy
Killing snoke is the path to him going off the deep end into the dark side, then his "battle" with luke cements that he's irredeemable
But ofc jj went back on kylo getting rid of the light...even tho he introduced it by having him kill han
