Dec 20, 2019DoggoThey made the series a saga. Star Wars 1-6 is the fall of Anakin to Vader and then his redemption. 7-9 were better directed but I'd rather watch the prequels flaws and all. They have a more interesting narrative. And they actually contribute to Star Wars instead repacking 4-6 for a newer gen.
To each their own I guess.
I prefer the fact that it is repackaged for a new generation. Main thing that held these films down were the fact that it kept using nostalgia and forcing the old cast in.
